From 13 to 14 March 2024, Univ. Prof.-Dr.-Ing. Heather Kaths and Leonard Arning attended the conference Heureka - Optimization in Traffic and Transport, in Stuttgart. Every three years, Heureka brings together researchers and practitioners in the field of modelling and optimization in transport. Leonard Arning presented interim results from the PLUG-IN project on modeling the ownership choice of electric and conventional bicycles. The results and feedback from the participants will be incorporated into further work on modeling mode choice and implementing the models in macroscopic and agent-based transport models.
