New Research Project ARROW
The project ARROW, funded by the German Research Foundation DFG, will start in October 2025 and run for three years.
In the course of the project, the behaviour of cyclists, scooter riders and other two-wheelers will be investigated and the influencing factors of constellations of small objects on wheels moving together will be determined in order to transfer these dynamics into microscopic simulations.
In addition, a basis for the technical requirements and protocols necessary for the implementation and validation of AR traffic experiments will be created.
A third important goal is the development of the flexible AR platform "Open AR Lab software suite", which is specifically designed for traffic experiments and will be publicly available to facilitate further research.
