Team hike to Burg Castle
On June 13, our team met at Schaberg in Solingen for our yearly hike. In fine weather, we set off to the Müngstener Brückenpark where we operated the floating ferry in a joint sporting effort to get to the other side of the Wupper. The route led along the Wupper and finally up a steep hill to Schloss Burg, where we enjoyed a beautiful view and delicious waffles. After a well-deserved break, some of us took the chairlift while others walked downhill and we returned back to Solingen Schaberg S-Bahn station on the other side of the river. On our way there, we stopped to take a look at the Wupper weir. We ended the day with delicious food and drinks in the Stückgut beer garden.
