Content and Learning Goals
Teaching of knowledge required for the design of cycling facilities.
Learning Outcomes
The students:
- can explain the relevance of the bicycle as a mode of transport in the context of sustainable mobility,
- are able to evaluate basic aspects of the quality and safety of cycling,
- can explain the relevance of stationary traffic in the context of cycling,
- are able to compare different infrastructure measures for linking modes of transport,
- are able to assess the importance of cycling as part of municipal mobility management, and
- are able to critically assess the goals, measures, players and structures of cycling promotion.
