Projekt TiptoP: CYCLISTS WANTED
Mountainous and hilly regions still lag behind geographically flatter regions in cycling development. The research project TiptoP will help to change this by analyzing in detail the influence of topography on the behavior of cyclists. The knowledge gained will be applied in traffic simulation as well as bicycle traffic planning.
We are happy to announce that last week the first experiments for our research project TiptoP were conducted.
And now we need your help: to obtain more data, we are looking for more volunteers from the university environment who would like to support us in the real-world experiment. For this, we need you - and your bike. During the real-world experiment, you will ride your (unassisted) bike on a route around the campus Grifflenberg. We record this ride with sensors. Additionally, we will interview you before and after the ride. The experimental ride will take about 15 minutes.
We are looking forward to your registrations via this link (https://umfrage.uni-wuppertal.de/index.php/682246?lang=en) and hope for great support to be able to design a more attractive biking infrastructure.
