E-Bike Experiment
Dear Cycling-Community,
We would like to cordially invite you to participate in our e-bike experiment.
In our study, we aim to better understand how people ride e-bikes (pedelecs) on different sections of a route—for example, on uphill and downhill sections or through curves. Therefore our pedelec has been equipped with various sensors and a bike computer. Participants will ride a predetermined route while the sensors record data about the ride. This will allow us to later analyze how riding behavior changes depending on the route.
The ride takes about 20 to 30 minutes and covers a distance of approximately 6 kilometers. In total, we plan to allocate about one hour per person. Participation is available on Tuesdays between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and on Thursdays between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
If you’d like to participate, please register using the following form:

After you register, we’ll contact you by email to let you know your specific appointment time.
By participating, you’ll be contributing to basic research on e-bike usage and riding behavior. You’ll also gain insights into our research and have the opportunity to exchange ideas with our team.
We would be delighted to have you participate and thank you in advance!
