Analysis of ownership and/or usage of e-bikes

Description

E-bikes have been experiencing rapid growth for some years now; more and more households have access to a bicycle with electric drive assistance. However, like all mobility tools, e-bikes are not evenly distributed across the population. Since the 2017 survey wave, ownership of pedelecs has been recorded in the MiD survey (Mobility in Germany), which makes it possible to investigate the relationship between spatial and socio-demographic household characteristics and e-bike ownership. In this thesis, the raw data from the survey will be analyzed using Python Pandas or another suitable tool and the results compared with the current literature. This task description can also be worked on analogously to the topic of e-bike use (instead of ownership).
